Graduation Mutha Sucka

As graduation approaches the anticipation for school to finally be over is turning into a nagging feeling. It has especially taken a tole on me since I haven't been able to post anything in the past couple of weeks. I feel as though I have encountered the widespread disease of senioritis. I feel like I've done everything to successfully be in a position to graduate in that I got a near full ride to school (Duquesne U). In doing that, school should have already ended for me and I should be done, but unfortunately it hasn't. And until then, I am forced to show signs of this disease and basically just show up to school. On another note Springfield has been pretty consistent with its weekends which means there's always something to do, like this weekend for instance we hittin up Q concert. Lol no homo, we aren't going for the concert, except to see Roth's performance. But besides that were going for the festivities that will be taking place at the concert. So on that note, hope you do it big this weekend.

Prom To The Red Cup Affairs

Well... after a fun prom and a wild ass weekend I came home to a new issue of SI. Like always I begin the magazine by reading the very last article, labeled "Point After", which is always a good read because it has always seemed to be a very personal piece that has focused on both the world of sports and role sports play in society. And in this issue the article focused on this guy..

Recently Jeremy Tyler decided to forgo his Senior Year in High School, yes that means he's in 11th grade this year, to play ball in Europe... Kinda jockin off Brandon Jennings I know... After I first read it I thought this kid must be crazy good and I immediately went to my computer to peep some YouTube highlights of him.. He's god gifted..

But considering after a wild ass weekend of Party and Bullshit I thought damn.. Dudes gonna be missing out..

And then someday when he decides to enter the NBA he has no room to fuck up, or he'll end up being the poster child for "What not to do when you have everything riding for you" like some dumbasses such as Mike Vick or PacMan Jones.. 

But who says im right.. I am only one year older than Jeremy Tyler.. No where near ready to enter my career of choice.

In the end, if the shit works out right... good for him, but these are the days to live up.. You can't ever rewind time.. Like meek once said, you don't ever grow up and be a kid again.

Spring is upon us, and with it, Prom. Springfield Senior Prom was held Friday, May 1st, at the Spring Mill Manor. I believe a good time was had by all, and by all accounts, everyone stayed safe and out of trouble. What more could you ask for?

Many Philadelphia fans were pulling for the Villanova Wildcats in the NCAA March Madness tournament this march. Despite the tough loss to the would be champion North Carolina Tar Heels, many 'nova fans were satisfied with how the season turned out and excited for next year. But today one of Villanova's top players and team leaders decided to take the route of other star college basketball players and declare for the NBA draft in June. Although this is sad news for myself, Doc D and other nova fans across the tri-state area, I wish him good luck in the big show. Here is a look at one of his last bright moments as a wildcat.

V.A Beach




By far, the best place to eat while in Virgina beach. Peep the creativity that went into designing the entrance.



This was pretty cool. This was a representation of all the nationalities that attend Hampton, just to show you HBCU's are diverse as well.



Every Friday at the student center a DJ comes to, well..basically start the weekend off. You could definitely tell you were in Hampton when the DJ played mostly Clipse and Pharrell, hey I didn't complain. If you can, look at the guy to the left of the DJ with the red fitted, he was throwin' up the star track sign the whole time..lol. In this frame he was in his chill bag tho.

Spring Break x Hampton

So the greatly anticipated spring break has finally arrived, loads of partying, as well as overall spring enjoyment awaits us all. This spring break my fam an I are taking a trip down to Virgina beach, stomping grounds of artists Clipse and Pharrell Williams. Like regular families, we are going down to enjoy what V.A beach has to offer; whether it be the girls, resorts, good food etc. Another key spot that we are hitting up for probably the 5th time now, is Hampton University. Tho, I most likely will be attending Duquesne University this fall, its good to see what else my #2 school may have to offer..besides the (girls)like I stated before. Oh well, be safe, and enjoy your spring break where ever you may be.

On this beautiful Teusday, home from school on spring break, Me and my man Shane decided to chill downtown.
